I am extremely grateful that my mom took this photo as I never saw them snuggle.
The film was actually developed after Fiona died,and that was my only proof that Fiona truly accepted Kira.

She went blind at age 9, taught me to be a guide human. She got me hooked on Shelties.

We were told she was 7 when we adopted her, but seemed she was older.
She was a breeder in a puppy mill, then given to a couple who didn't have time to deal with her issues. She was our second rescue, so she fit in well here.
